Responsibilities

To develop, monitor and coordinate HC operations activities in a timely and accurate manner such as employee contracts, HC operations policies focusing on providing support to employees with the aim to enhance the working environment and promote a positive culture within UDST.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:     

 

  • Utilize the HC policy manual as prime point of reference regarding employee related guidance.
  • Handle employee contracts that are renewed for existing employees, contractors, temporary hires etc.
  • Respond to relevant employee request and provide response based on HC policy manual (e.g. Leave request, Eligibilities, transportation, etc.)
  • Monitor UDST employee’s compliance to the HC policies and procedures and collaborate with Employee Relations Specialist to take appropriate actions in case of grievance and disciplinary actions.
  •  Support the Manager, HC Operations in updating the HC policies and communicating changes to the employees.
  • Process children’s education allowance and any other benefits to employees as directed by your line manager.
  • Ensure effective, efficient and timely processing and updating of employee’s records/files both manual and electronic.
  • Handle the related tasks pertaining to hiring employees on the system. 9. Keep track of employees’ information in personnel files (information such as but not limited to, exemptions, violations, performance records, transfers and promotions), and communicate with the HCI&Q to update and maintain employee records on the system.
  • Handle all memos relating to employee, such as confirmation of service, transfers, promotions resignations and terminations, and disseminate this information to relevant personnel in a timely manner. Facilitate the layoff, termination or resignation related processes of employees.
  •  Conduct exit interviews and support in administering severance and assist with termination decisions and notification of termination.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, HC or related field

 

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HC or related field

Language:

Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language required.
