Overview

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by the Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, and it is the first national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. UDST has over 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs, diplomas, and certificates. The university houses 5 colleges: The College of Business, the College of Computing and Information Technology, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Health Sciences, and the College of General Education, in addition to specialized training centers for individuals and companies. Responsibilities

This position requires an individual to execute and organize documentation on key Faculty Affairs processes such as profiling candidates, performance management, promotion procedures and internal faculty related policies and procedures. The successful candidate will serve as the primary information resource, addressing queries and facilitating day-to-day operational functions. The selected candidate will collect and analyze faculty-related data, such as faculty teaching load, class schedule, professional development and teaching evaluations, using appropriate solutions, deriving actionable insights to enhance overall effectiveness in faculty management and development. The selected candidate will collaborate with the Academic Manager, Faculty Affairs, to contribute to the development of systems that organize and facilitate the execution of faculty actions, policies and processes to enhance efficiency and coherence in faculty-related operations. The successful candidate will prepare templates, proofread official materials, draft forms, and correspondences in an efficient and timely manner. She/He will collaborate on faculty development initiatives by contributing to the development of new or enhanced training material, informational presentation, and instructional manuals, aimed at enhancing the functionality of Faculty Affairs. The selected candidate will gather and evaluate relevant information to assist academic leadership in effectively addressing and processing grievances fostering a fair and informed resolution process within the academic community and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience:

Minimum 4 years of academic experience.

Language:

Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

Fluency in written and spoken English language required.

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language preferred.

Demonstrated experience in data analysis and processing.
