Overview

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by the Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, and it is the first national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. UDST has over 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs, diplomas, and certificates. The university houses 5 colleges: The College of Business, the College of Computing and Information Technology, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Health Sciences, and the College of General Education, in addition to specialized training centers for individuals and companies. Responsibilities

The selected candidate must Develop and support institutional planning for the implementation and maintenance of learning content hosted in the Learning Management System (LMS).

Implement, integrate, and support the creation of courses, sections, and classes, including the enrollment of faculty and students as required.

Coordinate with AEL management to determine and support strategic learning initiatives.

Develop and implement strategies and deliver training for educational projects.

Design and deliver applied learning support for lab environments.

Contribute to the development of training materials and manage access to learning technologies.

Assist with D2L version upgrades in collaboration with IT to ensure minimal disruption to student learning.

Support the administration and delivery of D2L training for instructors to promote effective system usage across UDST.

Offer advanced technical problem-solving support and advice to the IT Helpdesk and D2L users to enhance educational technology usage and troubleshoot associated online learning tools.

Monitor and resolve D2L incidents in collaboration with the IT team, escalating complex requests as necessary.

Ensure regular communication with users regarding unresolved incidents reported to the AEL team.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is required.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

 

Language:

Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Bilingual in English and Arabic is preferable.

IELTS score of 7 and above.
