University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by the Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, and it is the first national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. UDST has over 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs, diplomas, and certificates. The university houses 5 colleges: The College of Business, the College of Computing and Information Technology, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Health Sciences, and the College of General Education, in addition to specialized training centers for individuals and companies. The selected candidate must develop and execute projects from concept through production, utilizing best practices in digital communications, graphic design, videography, photography, production, and immersive technologies such as AR/VR for educational purposes.
Assist and support users during sessions to maximize studio productivity and efficiency, including guidance on AR/VR and other immersive learning tools.
Produce high-quality, educationally relevant learning objects such as videos, photos, animations, and immersive content to enhance teaching. Utilize current equipment, production techniques, and software applications to process and edit audio, video, and interactive learning materials.
Provide training and support to faculty on media production, equipment usage, and the integration of AR/VR and other digital media in teaching and learning.
Perform general studio maintenance, including operating system and software updates, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Organize and set up technology and documents for meetings, and coordinate the loan of technology to employees. Use the UDST online system to record and track all loans.
Ensure all projects are properly backed up and archived to maintain availability and security.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience out of which 2 in the education sector
Language:
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Bilingual in English and Arabic is preferable.
IELTS score of 7 and above.
