The Manager, Student Services will contribute to the development of the Student Services business plan in alignment with UDST’s strategic priorities. The role is responsible for leading, planning, and executing all student recruitment activities, including exhibitions, higher education fairs, and school outreach events, while maintaining strong relationships with sponsors, prospective applicants, high school counsellors, parents, alumni, and internal university partners. The manager will establish and uphold operational quality standards to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of services, and will oversee the development and maintenance of a centralized complaints management system, ensuring proper case routing, tracking, closure, and reporting. This position will analyze complaint trends, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to enhance resolution rates and service quality.
The manager will ensure that high-quality customer service is consistently delivered to prospective and current students, parents, alumni, and sponsors. Responsibilities also include providing training and orientation to new staff on Student Information Systems and related IT tools, reviewing and updating recruitment procedures, supervising the recruitment team, and issuing monthly performance reports. The role will collaborate closely with the Marketing & Communications Directorate and the Alumni Relations, Partnerships & Engagement Directorate to support the effective promotion and administration of scholarships that contribute to student recruitment.
Additional responsibilities include responding to and resolving or redirecting inquiries related to Admissions and Registration received in person, by email, or by telephone; contributing to the development of policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines governing Student Services operations; coordinating with sponsors each semester to confirm sponsorship eligibility and ensure the timely registration of sponsored applicants; and performing other related duties as assigned.
People Management
Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates based on UDST’s Employee Performance Management framework to ensure continual high performance of employees in alignment with UDST’s mission and mandate. Contribute to the development of workforce plans for the Admissions and Registration Directorate in collaboration with Human Capital. Contribute to the development of employees through identifying appropriate learning and development opportunities. Contribute to the recruitment of talent within the Admissions and Registration Directorate.
Education and Certifications:
Master’s degree in business administration is required.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience is required.
2-3 years of managerial experience
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English language required.
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language preferred.
