The Human Capital Directorate invites applications for the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist (Qatari National Only).

Responsibilities

To undertake recruitment (including the number of positions, skills, qualifications, experience and timeframe required for each position) in line with UDST’s recruitment and Qatarization plans and sourcing approach, with the aim to fairly recruit the right competencies to the right jobs within UDST and in alignment with the established annual plan, strategy and operating plans for each directorate/department.

 

The successful candidate will 

  1. Contribute to the development of a yearly plan for Recruitment in alignment with the organization design and workforce plans.
  2. Monitor achievement of Recruitment plans periodically, and escalate deviations from plan to the Head, Talent Acquisition.
  3. Develop interview questions and assessment methods, in consultation with the Head, Talent Acquisition and conduct interviews, ensuring the use of appropriate techniques, and facilitate the hiring of the most suitable candidate.
  4. Research external recruitment tools and services to enhance recruitment process in line with current trends in the market.
  5. Support with organizing and attend recruitment events and job fairs to meet with potential candidates and promote UDST to the local and international labor market.
  6. Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for each position which is advertised / posted and applications have been received. Furthermore, continually perform candidate searches on various online platforms.
  7. Establish effective networks both internally (e.g. referral programs) and externally (e.g. agencies, external career fairs) to support sourcing strategies.
  8. Populate the employment contracts, conditional job offers, acceptance / rejection letters and engage with candidates in a timely manner, in alignment with UDST’s established policies, procedures and processes.
  9. Prepare job adverts and upload the approved job adverts on different job sites.
  10. Initiate reference check of shortlisted candidates.
  11. Coordinate with HC operations teams for onboarding a candidate.
  12. Liaise with Government Agencies and Government Employment Portals to support in promoting the recruitment and retention of Qatari nationals in UDST.
  13. Conduct initial / screening interviews with applicants and liaise with relevant line managers to schedule further / next stage interviews in line with the established process.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field.

 

Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition or related field.

 

 

Language

Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language is required.
