University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by the Emiri Decision No13 of 2022, and it is the first national university specializing in academic applied, technical, and professional education in the State of Qatar. UDST has over 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs, diplomas, and certificates. The university houses 5 colleges: The College of Business, the College of Computing and Information Technology, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Health Sciences, and the College of General Education, in addition to specialized training centers for individuals and companies. Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will manage reports of academic and non-academic student misconduct violations ensuring confidentiality and adherence to university policies and procedures.
  • She/He will conduct thorough investigations into reported violations, gathering evidence, interviewing relevant parties and maintain case records.
  • Implement disciplinary actions and educational sanctions based on the severity of the violation and in accordance with established policies.
  • Manage the meetings with students involved in misconduct cases, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  • The selected candidate will educate students, faculty and staff on student conduct policies, procedures and ethical behavior expectations through training, workshops and relevant channels to promote awareness of UDST standards.
  • The position requires collaboration with University Business Unit Heads, faculty and staff in addressing conduct issues to promote a safe and inclusive campus environment.
  • The successful candidate will perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern cultural norms and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by students in the region.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
